THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Senior Specialist, Digital Marketing is a key member of the Digital Marketing team and will play a critical role in the success of the company’s awareness, marketing and fundraising efforts, as well supporting general online/digital initiatives both internal and external. The individual will be responsible for building, maintaining and deploying websites and emails to support the acquisition and engagement of constituents, event participants, donors and other to drive event participation and fundraising.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Manage web production for tentpole campaigns including November Awareness, PurpleStride and major overhauls to pancan.org to ensure best in class user experience.
• Build, update and maintain websites and pages utilizing content management systems (Blackbaud/Convio Luminate Online and WordPress).
• Build, customize and deploy email communications utilizing email service providers (Blackbaud/Convio Luminate Online, Salesforce and MailChimp).
• Review, test and ensure quality control of web/digital projects and emails; Use QA tools (e.g. BrowserStack, Litmus, etc.) to preview & test designs/builds among devices, browsers and mail clients.
• Partner and manage along with Head of Digital, external vendors including SEO agency, Google Analytics consultant, UX consultant to ensure projects and reporting are on track and delivered in a timely fashion.
• Manage data reporting including Google Analytics, SEO, and CRM.
• Monitor PanCAN.org UX performance leveraging tools including Crazy Egg, Google Analytics, and provide insights on how to improve the experience for constituents. Make recommendations on sections of the site based on data that can be improved.
• Partner with Head of Digital, Senior Web Architect, Data Team, and IT on best practices across, web, CRM and data to ensure all channels are functioning properly and tackle issues as they arise alerting appropriate teams to take action.
• Ensure utilization of deliverability best practices and compliance of content submitted is correct and follows brand standards, privacy, spam regulation (CAN-SPAM), web accessibility/ADA compliance, etc.
• Work with graphic designers to customize, resize and/or reformat creative assets as needed for web properties, emails and other digital projects.
• Collaborate and communicate with Marketing and other internal staff to understand and determine project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide status updates on tasks and projects.
• Effectively manage projects and requests to meet or exceed expectations and deliver quality work on time.
• Utilize project management tools (Teamwork, Basecamp, etc.) to manage projects and tasks, and communicate with project stakeholders.
• Follows company brand and guidelines; ensures style guidelines are followed and project adheres to specifications and standards.
• Responsible for other web/digital-related duties/projects as assigned by management.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year accredited university in marketing, communications, web development, or other related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and practical experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities required.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
• 3+ years of experience updating/maintaining websites and web content using a content management system
• 3+ years of experience creating and building emails utilizing an email service provider
• Experience with basic HTML required
• Strong attention to detail and stellar organization skills is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with multiple and changing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and attention to deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and team player skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of an organization both internally and externally
• Experience with digital marketing platforms systems such as Blackbaud, Luminate Online, Engaging Networks; email platforms such as Luminate Online, Constant Contact, MailChimp; and other donor database software highly desirable
• Experience/familiarity with CSS, WC3 standards and specifications, adaptive, interactive, mobile first-design and usability principles, and Google tags are a plus
• Experience with non-profit and peer-to-peer event marketing a plus
SALARY RANGE: ($29 – 31/hr.) PanCAN is committed to providing fair and transparent employee pay. Our compensation policy and practices integrate years of relative experience, skills, job duties, functions, responsibilities, education, certifications, expertise, PanCAN seniority, position/title, department, market conditions, and merit, and may also include geographic location. Our base salaries range from Entry level to Experienced and max at Expert level. The base pay range included herein is specific and germane to the job/position/opening as described within this announcement.
