Consultant commercial de territoire /Territory Sales Consultant– Quebec

En tant que conseiller du territoire, vous serez chargé de générer de nouvelles affaires, de fournir une assistance commerciale aux distributeurs, d’aider et d’éduquer les utilisateurs finaux sur l’application, l’installation et la maintenance de toutes les gammes de produits. Recommander l’ajout de nouveaux distributeurs et jouer un rôle dans leur évaluation. Faire appel à de grands cabinets d’architectes de la ville de Montréal et ses banlieues pour promouvoir nos services de conseil et leur fournir une expertise technique.

Tâches principales
• Représenter et promouvoir, par le biais de différentes activités, toutes les gammes de produits de l’entreprise auprès des distributeurs, architectes et utilisateurs finaux désignés sur le territoire.
• Contribuer à l’établissement d’objectifs à court et à long terme pour le territoire dans son ensemble et par client.
• Assurer une assistance commerciale aux distributeurs établis dans le territoire assigné.
• Élaborer un plan d’affaires pour le territoire et des plans d’affaires personnalisés pour tous les comptes afin d’inclure les éléments suivants: les objectifs des détaillants, la formation sur les produits, les stratégies d’investissement et les objectifs de revenus.
• Peut recommander l’ajout de nouveaux distributeurs et jouer un rôle dans leur évaluation.
• Soutenir les stratégies de marketing de l’entreprise en fournissant des rapports de vente précis et opportuns et des informations sur la concurrence à l’organisation régionale des ventes pour aider à maintenir des listes précises des produits et des prix des concurrents.
• Gérer la base de données des clients directs et indirects du territoire.
• Effectuer des inspections de chantier au nom de l’entreprise ou des distributeurs, selon les besoins.
• Conserver et utiliser l’outil de GRC pour les rapports sur les rôles et pour communiquer les activités de vente.

Qualifications requises

Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes
• Les candidats doivent détenir un permis de conduire valide dans la province de résidence.
• Être prêt à voyager au Canada ou aux États-Unis.
• Très bonnes connaissances informatiques, dont Word et Excel.
• Voyager à 50% dans la région de Montréal.
• Excellentes techniques et expériences de présentation.
• Grande capacité de communication et aptitude à collaborer et à influencer tous les échelons de l’entreprise.
• Excellentes aptitudes pour la vente; attitude axée sur le rendement.
• Bilinguisme (français/anglais) est un atout.
• Personne entreprenante qui prend des initiatives.

Enseignement
• Diplôme universitaire ou collégial en génie architectural, en technologie architecturale, en conseil de quincaillerie de finition ou l’équivalence en années d’expérience.
• Un minimum de deux ans de formation terminés au Door and Hardware Institute est un atout.

Expérience
• 5 ans d’expérience dans la vente, de préférence dans le secteur de la quincaillerie de finition.

Territory Sales Consultant

As the Territory Consultant, you will drive and generate new business, provide sales support to the distributors, assist and educate end-users on the application, installation and maintenance of all product lines. Recommend the addition of new distributors and assist in their evaluation. Call on major architectural firms in Montréal and surrounding area to promote our consulting services and provide them with technical expertise.

What You Will Do:

Essential Responsibilities
• Represents and promote all product lines of the Company to the assigned distributors, architects and end-users within the east of the province of Quebec.
• Assist in the establishment of short and long-range goals for the territory in total and by customer.
• Provide sales support to the established distributors within the assigned territory.
• Develop a territory business plan and customized business plans for all accounts to include the following: dealer targets, product training, investment strategies, and revenue goals.
• May recommend the addition of new distributors and assist in their evaluation.
• Supports the business marketing strategies by providing accurate and timely sales reports and competitive information to the Regional Sales Organization to assist in maintaining accurate competitor product/price lists.
• Maintain territory direct and indirect customer database.
• Perform job site inspections on behalf of the company or distributors as required.
• Maintain and utilize CRM tool for roles reporting and to communicate sales activities.

What You Need to Succeed:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Applicants must possess and maintain a valid driving license in the province of residence.
• Be willing to travel within Canada and/or the United States.
• Excellent computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Travel 50% within Montreal area.
• Strong presentation skills and experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence at all levels across the Company.
• Strong selling abilities with a results-driven attitude.
• Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.

Education
• A University or College graduate in Architectural Engineering or Technology, Designated Architectural Hardware Consultant (A.H.C), or equivalent years of experience.
• Completion of at least two years of the DHI Training Courses would be an asset.

Experience
• 5 years sales experience, preferably in the architectural hardware industry.
