### Responsibilities
– **Customer Interaction:** Engage with customers via live chat, providing timely responses to inquiries and resolving issues effectively. Ensure a professional and friendly demeanor throughout all interactions.
– **Product Knowledge:** Develop a deep understanding of Pacific Life’s products and services to effectively address customer questions and concerns. Continuously update knowledge based on product changes and updates.
– **Issue Resolution:** Analyze customer issues, identify root causes, and provide solutions or escalate issues to the appropriate departments when necessary. Take ownership of customer inquiries and follow through until resolution.
– **Data Entry and Documentation:** Accurately input customer interactions and relevant data into the company’s CRM system to maintain a comprehensive record of customer interactions and facilitate future communication.
– **Feedback Collection:** Gather customer feedback regarding their experiences and suggest improvements to management based on insights gained from direct interactions.
– **Performance Metrics:** Meet and exceed established performance metrics, such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction targets. Regularly review self-performance to identify areas for improvement.
– **Collaboration:** Work closely with the customer support team and other departments to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience across all communication channels.
– **Training Support:** Assist in onboarding new team members by sharing insights from personal experiences and offering guidance on best practices in customer support.
### Requirements
– **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a live chat or similar environment.
– **Confident Personality:** A self-assured individual who can handle customer interactions with poise, capable of using their judgment to make decisions quickly.
– **Passionate Attitude:** A genuine passion for helping people coupled with a desire to learn and grow within the role.
– **Soft Skills:**
– **Exceptional Communication:** Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
– **Analytical Skills:** Ability to analyze customer issues, data trends, and feedback efficiently to improve service quality.
– **Technical Proficiency:** Comfortable using CRM systems, live chat platforms, and other relevant software. Adept at learning new technologies quickly.
– **Team Player:** Collaborative mindset with a commitment to fostering a positive team environment.
– **Availability:** Must be flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customer needs.
