Digital Marketing Specialist – VA

CJ Pony Parts is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing digital marketing team! In this role, you will be responsible for researching and tracking marketing projects to meet business objectives. Leveraging analytics and data, as well as some strategy and creative ideas, you will assist the Multi-Channel Marketing Manager in paid advertising tasks, email marketing tests, and other marketing growth opportunities.

This person will be responsible for completing organizational and strategic tasks for and with the Multi-Channel Marketing Manager. Successful candidates are highly organized, curious, and strong communicators.

The Digital Marketing Specialist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with Multi-Channel Marketing Manager to maintain paid advertising accounts.
• Assist in results tracking for email marketing and paid advertising projects.
• Help to coordinate marketing teams and link departments for streamlined collaboration.
• Review current marketing trends to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
• Report on performance and insights for marketing channels.
• Plan and propose new addressable channel opportunities.
• Identify and coordinate continuous improvements in performance through testing.
• Utilize knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Ads to create, analyze, and share findings.
• Work closely with third-party service providers to monitor and optimize ad account performance.
• Track best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations for addressable channel growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:
• Education: A completed bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or another related field or sufficient work experience.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in Marketing or Digital Analytics.
• Specific Skills: Ability to learn and strong work ethic. Advanced writing and research skills. Excellent organization skills and the ability to balance strategic planning and direction with hands-on execution. Critical thinking skills. Technical knowledge. Familiar with e-commerce and have a pulse on the latest and greatest of the online world. Basic knowledge of search engine optimization. Working knowledge of Google Analytics. Strong research skills. Understanding of internet marketing business models and metrics. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Enthusiasm about the car/truck industry.
