Overview:
This Copywriter position is a fully remote role for a seasoned conceptual thinker with 6+ years of experience in digital marketing and brand-heavy copy. As part of an innovative team, the Copywriter collaborates across departments to create best-in-class, on-brand content that balances product focus with brand voice. Working in an Agile-inspired environment, the candidate will learn from test results and continuously improve their work. The role reports to the Creative Director of Copy.
Hourly rate range: $42 – $46/hr, paid weekly
Duration: 2 to 3 months.
Copywriter Duties:
• Collaborate with marketing strategists, art directors, and project teams to produce multi-channel communications including email, social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, etc.), banners, and direct mail.
• Absorb creative briefs, generate ideas, and iterate based on testing and performance metrics to refine future campaigns.
• Balance brand and product messaging to create cohesive campaigns that align with business goals.
• Work collaboratively and efficiently in real-time group environments, adapting to rapid changes.
• Produce content for various audiences while ensuring the brand’s voice and tone are consistently represented.
Copywriter Requirements:
• 6+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in digital marketing, with a portfolio showcasing multi-channel campaigns.
• Strong digital marketing copy experience across channels like email, social media, and banners.
• Comfortable working in iterative processes, learning from campaign performance, and elevating work over time.
• Ability to balance brand voice with product-driven campaign needs.
• Strong conceptual skills, innovative thinking, and a collaborative spirit.
• Experience working in fast-paced, group environments (experience in Agile is a plus).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related field.
• Experience writing for a major consumer bank or consumer finance company a plus.
