Sr. Art Director (Campaigns)

Aquent Studios x Adobe is a custom-built creative agency partnership that provides scalability with world-class talent to Adobe’s in-house studio and web team. We are looking for a strong, independent and collaborative HANDS-ON Senior Art Director (with prior experience in this level of role) who will be responsible for developing concepts and visual assets. We are looking for someone with innovative artistic design skills across static and motion/video design. Recent experience art directing and designing marketing/creative campaigns (preferably 360 but multi-channel at a minimum) is a MUST, as is agency and video (and storyboarding) experience. Anywhere from 20-80% of the position consists of creating hands-on design as an individual contributor, and CURRENT hands-on design experience is thus required. Current experience producing final, pixel-perfect files – 100% ready for release/publishing – is absolutely mandatory.

This is a temporary role – lasting three months at a time (how many times it will extend is unclear). It is hourly, and we do provide benefits. You must be able to work regular business hours in the PST zone.

A very strong portfolio of current work is required to be considered. It must include samples of a caliber, and in a style/aesthetic, that is clearly relevant to Adobe.

What you need to succeed:
• A “knock your socks off” portfolio that proves imagination, artistry, and conceptual ability. Both conceptual and executional work needs to be includedThe ability to create high quality artistic, engaging assets with an eye for detail and a clean, sophisticated aesthetic
• Campaign experience (360 or multi-channel at a minimum)
• Video experience (including storyboarding)
• Agency experience
• Collaboration with team in brainstorm sessions and help push creative concepts that resonate with client audience
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced schedule
• Confident, articulate presentation skills to effectively deliver creative
• Can understand and appropriately translate client brand guidelines
• Demonstrate critical thinking to ideation, concepts and design

Experience
• Recent experience producing final deliverables with pixel-perfect files that are ready for release/publishing
• 7-10 years of work experience in this field with 3+ years working as an Art Director at an ad agency
• Recent hands-on design experience
• Strong artistic background in concept development and execution
