Senior Accounting and Admin

Position will start at PT business hours (20) and as skills are learned will transition to 40 BUSINESS hours. Simply Put; Gradual additional hours would be put in place as training progresses and all competencies are demonstrated. We understand that mastering a task is based upon a unique learning curve. Full Time hours will be offered when the new hire is ready and training is complete. We expect that training would be complete in 14-25 days. FT hours would on or about 8-5 eastern time.

Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of business accounting experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS 365
• Experienced with Outlook (email and scheduling)
• Experienced in AP / AR
• GED or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Experienced in fleet managment and insurance coverages a plus

Required:
• Strong background and experience in business accounting
• Must be available to transition to full-time upon completion of training and demonstrating accurate learned skills
• Fleet management and insurance a big plus
• Tracking background as well as contract reading/review/updates. Attention to detail, business management, accounting, general ledger, monthly entries.
• Need to be able to reconcile the monthly bank account, credit card statements, as well as run reports and understand how to read financial reports and put together for upper management.
• Experienced in Financial Reporting – required
• Customer service phone skills
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple, conflicting deadlines. Effective problem solving and analytical skills with particular attention given to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrate effective decision-making skills based on company needs
• Effective follow through on critical aspects of tasks and projects with a hands-on approach.
• Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to interface with personnel at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize. Self-motivated, must be able to work independently as well as a strong team player. MUST BE TRUSTWORTHY this is a work at home position
