Media Planner

Our retail client is looking for a Media Planner to join their growing team!

This role is…
• Direct-hire / Full-Time
• Ideally local to MN, but the client is open to remote and can hire if you reside in Florida and North Carolina.
• If local, prefer someone to work on a hybrid basis but not required!

The ideal candidate:
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in media planning or media buying, primarily in TV and Video
• Experience / exposure in other types of media channels, i.e. catalogs and print/magazines/newsletters
• Expert in Microsoft Excel
• Expert in media, demographics and placement strategy
• Understanding of customer acquisition cost (CAC) to Lifetime Value (LTV) methodologies and approaches
• Knowledge of current industry trends and developments in the media space

Plusses:
• Experience with MTA (muti-touch attrition) and MMM (marketing mixed modeling)

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute and optimize media strategies to promote the company’s product and brand.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of media placement with support of outside agencies
• Primary media buying channels will be TV and video. Other types you may be responsible for include catalogs, and print/magazines/newsletters.
• Research, analyze and track the effectiveness of media campaigns, while recommending and implementing changes to maximize the ROI
• Research target audiences and analyze media consumption habits
• Oversee and manage overall paid media budget and placement, as well as be the main POC for accounting processes on advertising invoice approvals and month-end reconcilitations
