Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Certification Manager to oversee the CMS Systems Certification process for NC Medicaid on a one-year contract basis. This remote position demands a strategic leader who will also develop Advanced Planning Documents and other essential documentation for planning, implementation, and operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the comprehensive CMS Systems Certification process for NC Medicaid, acting as the CMS Certification Expert.
• Formulate and monitor quantifiable outcome statements and metrics for each project within the program.
• Develop, enable, and track certification strategies aligned with MITA and the seven standards and conditions required for certification and compliance.
• Lead APD kickoff, review, and closeout meetings, ensuring effective documentation such as CMS submittal letters is drafted accurately.
• Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, project teams, technical units, vendors, and budget offices to support the NC Medicaid Medicaid Enterprise System (MES) Program.
