Machine Learning Research Engineer

Location: Remote in the United States (must reside in the Eastern Time Zone)

Travel: Very limited but need to be open to it – visiting customers or company events

Responsibilities:
• Analyzing unstructured data to address customer problems
• Developing and evaluating new research ideas while improving existing capabilities
• Collaborating with data science and product management teams
• Analyzing complex communications data, generating insights, and creating solutions
• Developing machine learning (ML) models and other analytics
• Data annotation, quality review, exploratory data analysis, model fail state analysis
• Interacting with stakeholders to understand modeling needs

Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience working with data and analytics
• Experience working with Python
• Experience with data science and machine or deep learning frameworks and tooling
• Familiarity with unstructured, multi-modal communications data (text, speed, images, video)
• Experience working with LLM and/or NLP is preferred
• Experience with any of the following is preferred – scikit-learn, H20, Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, Lightning, Nvidia NeMo, Carot, gloVe, fastText, word2vec, Bert, SBert, GPT-x, NLTK, spaCy, AWS, GCS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes
