POSITION SUMMARY
Come Near is seeking a visionary leader to join our team as Head of Research, Insights & Analytics. This role will be instrumental in driving Come Near’s audience-centric strategy through innovative research methodologies, analytics, and actionable insights. This role is crucial for providing data-driven insights & analysis that inform our enterprise and brand marketing strategies, including cultural insight research, brand campaign measurement, and audience strategy development. This role is pivotal in generating actionable insights from diverse data sources to guide strategic decision-making and culturally relevant marketing, brand, and business initiatives. The ideal candidate, balancing art & science, will possess a deep understanding of cultural trends, audience behaviors, and strategic market analysis to effectively tailor strategy and engagement efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cultural Insight Research:
• Lead Come Near’s audience insights and research initiatives, informing product innovation, brand strategy, and business growth across all brands & initiatives.
• Conduct research to understand cultural trends, values, and behaviors that influence audience decisions within specific communities or demographics.
• Collaborate with cultural consultants and experts to ensure a comprehensive understanding of diverse audience backgrounds.
• Incorporate cultural insights into overall research projects to enhance the relevancy and impact of marketing strategies.
Market Research and Consumer Insights:
• Design and manage qualitative and quantitative research studies, including ethnographic studies, focus groups, and surveys to gather detailed audience and market insights.
• Identify and analyze competitive market dynamics, audience behaviors, and emerging trends to inform strategic positioning and product offerings.
Data Analysis and Strategic Insights:
• Drive the integration of audience insights into Come Near’s corporate strategic planning process.
• Utilize advanced statistical tools and data visualization platforms to analyze and interpret complex datasets, revealing underlying patterns and insights.
• Develop comprehensive reports and presentations that synthesize research findings into clear, strategic recommendations for both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Consumer Segmentation and Strategy Development:
• Develop sophisticated audience segmentation models that consider both demographic and psychographic factors.
• Translate insights from segmentation and cultural research into targeted marketing strategies that cater to the nuances of different audience groups.
Campaign Effectiveness and ROI:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, focusing on cultural relevance and audience engagement to determine ROI and suggest improvements.
• Provide insights on the cultural impact of marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and audience expectations.
Innovative Research Techniques:
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in market research, including digital analytics, social media listening, and AI-driven data analysis tools.
• Propose and integrate innovative research methodologies to enhance the depth and breadth of consumer and cultural insights.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Build, manage and mentor a team of insights professionals, fostering a culture of curiosity and analytical rigor.
• Work closely with marketing, branding, and product development teams to ensure research insights inform all phases of strategic planning and campaign execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product/brand creation, brand marketing, strategic planning, and innovation to translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Effectively communicate complex data and insights in a compelling and accessible manner to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
