Job: Content Specialist
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Are you a talented writer who can weave magic with words? If your answer is yes, then we have an exciting job opportunity for you. Flosum is looking for a highly motivated and skilled content manager to join our marketing team. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality and SEO-optimized content that attracts, educates, and engages our target audience. As an integral part of the marketing team, you will play a key role in driving organic traffic to our website and increasing our online visibility. We are a bootstrapped company and plan to hit $100Million ARR over the next few years and are looking for an accomplished rock star who wants to be part of a great success story.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Creation: (75%)
Write SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and website content to drive organic traffic and engagement
Conduct keyword research and optimize content for search engines
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content ideas, calendar and strategies
Edit short 1-2 minute product video snippets/vignettes created by the Technical Sales Engineers or the Product Marketing team
Create ebooks and Infographics from surveys
Content Optimization: (20%)
Update and optimize existing content to improve search engine ranking
Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush
Stay updated on SEO best practices and implement them in content creation
Website Management: (5%)
Assist in managing and updating website content, including third party websites such as Community portals, G2, AppExchange, AWS, etc.
Work with the marketing team to ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines, tone of the brand, and marketing objectives
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail. We prefer someone who conveys the point succinctly
• At least 5-6 years of experience in writing blogs, with a focus on SEO
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices is a MUST
• Strong understanding in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz is a MUST
• Proven track record of creating high-quality, SEO-optimized website content
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Working for at least 2 multi-national companies.
• 2+ years of experience with B2B or SaaS industry is a MUST
