Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Korean Translator to join our team. As a translator, you will be responsible for translating written and spoken content from Korean to English and vice versa. Your translations should be accurate, culturally appropriate, and timely to ensure clear communication between our organization and Korean-speaking clients, partners, or internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Translation of Documents: Translate various types of documents (business, legal, technical, marketing) from Korean to English and from English to Korean, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Interpretation Services: Provide oral translation for meetings, video conferences, and phone calls when needed.
• Cultural Context: Adapt translations to suit the cultural context of the target language, ensuring the intended message is clearly conveyed.
• Proofreading and Editing: Review translated documents for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and accuracy to maintain a high standard of work.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, legal, technical) to ensure that translations meet specific requirements.
• Terminology Management: Maintain glossaries and translation memory databases to ensure consistency across all materials.
• Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and adhere to confidentiality guidelines.
• Timely Delivery: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Fluency in Korean and English: Must have excellent written and spoken proficiency in both languages.
• Experience: Proven experience in translation (2+ years preferred).
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce error-free, high-quality translations.
• Cultural Awareness: Strong understanding of Korean and Western cultures to ensure accurate translations.
• Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with translation tools and software is a plus.
• Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
