Lead Clinical Contracts Specialist

Harvest Integrated Research Organization(HiRO) is a globally oriented clinical research organization (CRO). With global operations and integrated capabilities, the company provides its clients with a full range of solutions and services. We are searching for a Lead Clinical Contracts Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on supporting the financial and contractual aspects of the clinical team, ensuring smooth operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities
• Support the finance team by processing client payments, issuing invoices, and handling change orders as required.
• Review client work orders against contractual agreements using Company systems for financial analysis.
• Coordinate contracts, budgets, and clinical trial agreements with investigator sites during start-up activities.
• Ensure compliance with US laws and regulations.
• Serve as primary contact to negotiate and execute contracts with clinical trial vendors, including defining scope of work, study assumptions, and budgets as primary contact.
• Provide site/investigator estimates for RFPs in collaboration with BD upon request.
• Negotiate and manage master service agreements with sponsors, partnering CROs, and third parties.
• Establish and update US site and vendor contract templates and database.
• Receive, track, and review invoices from site.
• Regularly assess contractor workload to determine capacity to assume responsibility for contractor projects.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on contract and budget issues, while fostering strong partnerships with internal and external clients.
• Support other projects as assigned, including system integration, migrations, and data collection.

Preferred Experience/Skills
• Understanding of financial processes, including invoicing, payment processing, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Contract management experience.
• Familiarity with US laws and regulations governing clinical trials and contract compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills to effectively manage and prioritize various competing projects and priorities.
• Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and troubleshoot problems related to contracts, budgets, and financial transactions.
• Ability to work effectively with various departments and external stakeholders to achieve project goals and maintain strong relationships.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
