• Expertise in R programming and SAS Base
• Knowledge of SAS Graph and SAS Macros
• Proficiency in advanced statistical procedures as specified by biostatisticians
• Excellent understanding of CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM)
• Strong grasp of relational database components and theory
• Excellent application development skills
• Understanding of clinical trial data and hands-on experience in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
• Familiarity with ICH E6, ICH E3, ICH E8, ICH E9 guidelines

Responsibilities
• Perform all responsibilities associated with the Senior Programmer role
• Assist Sr. Programmers and Programmers in their daily tasks
• Act as an escalation point for team members
• Communicate regularly with sponsors about project progress
• Provide input and/or write programming specifications
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SAS programming
• Develop consistent clinical and statistical review practices
• Mentor programming staff and oversee process improvement initiatives
• Maintain expertise in SAS Macros and prioritize macro development
Qualifications
• Experience as a technical team lead engaging clients
• In-depth knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements (GCP and ICH guidelines)
• Advanced knowledge of R programming and SAS technologies
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to foster effective working relationships within the team
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in science or mathematics-related fields
