Schroders Capital Infrastructure is looking for an Infrastructure Investment intern to join on 6-month period starting in January 2025.

The intern will be responsible for supporting the infrastructure debt team through challenging assignments related to investment, asset management, ESG and product-related deliverables.

What you’ll do

Schroders Capital Infrastructure is hiring an Infrastructure Investment intern to support the continued growth of the Infrastructure platform over the past 9 years. The intern will be responsible for supporting the infrastructure debt team through challenging assignments related to investment, asset management, ESG and product-related deliverables.

During the internship, the candidate will have significant responsibilities in a fast- paced and challenging work environment. The main tasks include among others:

·Analysis of markets and potential investment targets, support of due diligence processes, drafting of investment memos and spreadsheet analysis

·Support of monitoring existing portfolio companies, through ad-hoc documents and internal files

·Preparation of presentations for internal and external use, coordination of ad-hoc responses to investors and prospect requests

·Market research on competitors, target investors, infrastructure sectors/markets, ESG/sustainability trends

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

·Top-tier business school or university, with strong academic credentials

·Relevant prior internships in related fields (e.g. infrastructure, Private Debt/Equity, M&A, strategy consulting, leveraged finance, transaction services)

·Strong proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel

·Excellent written and verbal French and English communication skills
