Job Overview
We invite you to join our innovative organization as the Vice President of Supply Chain. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight of supply chain operations, encompassing aspects such as new product introductions, product lifecycle management, sourcing and supplier relations, manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, procurement, quality… assurance, and returns. Your strategic leadership will be vital in optimizing processes and expenditures related to substantial infrastructure investments, significantly enhancing our operational capabilities and fostering sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement multi-year sourcing strategies to enhance resilience within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, operations, product development, and engineering to ensure cohesive alignment through Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP).
• Oversee supplier selection and evaluate performance through regular reviews and scorecards.
• Analyze both business and technical metrics to guide executive decisions regarding infrastructure and product strategies.
• Streamline processes and control costs associated with sourcing, warehousing, and logistics networks.
• Establish a robust defect management system and initiate cost-saving measures via warranty and return programs.
• Lead the engineering roadmap for ERP systems to facilitate comprehensive supply chain visibility for effective scenario planning.
Required Skills
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in business, product strategy, or operations planning within rapidly growing technology firms.
• Proven expertise in infrastructure supply chain operations and experience in engineering roadmap development for optimization.
• Proficient background in finance or analytics, including modeling and portfolio evaluation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for articulating ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• A demonstrated history of managing multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing effectively, and driving results in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
• An MBA or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
