ABOUT THE BRANCH
The Web Services Team is a small, collaborative, agile and inclusive team that sits within the Communications Branch and consists of content and developer specialists that deliver:
Content and development support across Finance’s web platforms including and the Finance Intranet Analytics and research to inform and write digital content in collaboration with business areas Content administration to publish web content New features and website development that supports an optimised user experience Advice to stakeholders on best practice and delivering digital channels in line with the Digital Experience Policy and compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA The key duties of the position include: ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a new position within the Web Services team and will be filled at either the APS5 or APS6 level, depending on the skills of the successful candidate.
Web Services… supports learning and development to build your skills in this role and enhance your capabilities for career progression.
In this role you will work with business owners to use evidence-based research and analytics, to review, edit and re-write content across websites managed by the Web Services team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
a sound understanding of web content design principles experience creating web content and guidance material and documentation for business areas that meet WCAG 2.2 AA requirements demonstrated, well-developed writing, communication, and interpersonal skills experience in providing quality customer service and an understanding of service delivery expectations to take responsibility and seek guidance from senior members of the team to ensure service standards are met.
