National Marketing and Communication Specialist (Digital Marketing)
The role will perform a variety of specialised and administrative functions to improve and strengthen client’s brand positioning both internally and externally
Externally:
• Drive marketing and communication initiatives to increase visibility and presence amongst customers, and strengthen positioning in the marketplace
• The coordination and development of media relations, event planning and management activities.
• The organisation-wide design of marketing materials for digital and print purposes including content generation and development of key messaging
Internally:
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders to enable successful execution and delivery of various activities and project initiatives across multiple functions (includes providing support for Lead Team, HR, Safety and Financial initiatives on ad-hoc basis).
Marketing:
• Drive national social media strategy: develop, implement and maintain a social… media presence for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram and any other emerging social media platforms.
• Brand promotion: Lead the development of branding, advertising, marketing tools, marketing materials, and promotional items in line with various marketing plans and campaigns which support the business strategy and branches nationwide.
• Sponsorships & advertising: coordinate, maintain and understand industry relationships to foster brand awareness and utilise sponsorship for advertising and brand strengthening purposes.
• Maintain, drive and improve digital presence across various channels and sub brands (Website, Google Places, eCommerce, Fencing, Sentinel, LOKPOD etc.).
• Product guide: development and maintenance of an up-to-date product guide for customers that helps with understanding and knowledge of product offering.
Communication:
• Deliver Internal Communications strategy (Blue News, Intranet, Workplace, Lead Team updates and announcements, project updates, etc.).
• Deliver external customer communications strategy (price letters, organisational updates/ customer notifications, manage customer feedback and maintain national distributions lists (internally and externally).
Special Projects:
• Support business in special projects to build brand and product awareness by using marketing and communication tools.
• Manage and liaise with external support and foster relationships with marketing/ digital agencies where required.
• Support growth strategy and oversee branding, customer communications and marketing materials for additional sites that are introduced to the network
• Collaborate with the National Tender Team and Regional Sales Teams to identify and develop case studies in brochure, video, and digital format where appropriate
• Review and update region specific capability statements, value-propositions, presentations, and other marketing materials on ad-hoc basis
Functional /Technical Skills and Competencies:
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proofreading, copy editing, desktop publishing
• Basic graphic design
• Demonstated experience in Graphic Design and the use of systems such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Demonstrated experience in utilising various mediums to distribute information
• Demonstrated experience using word press, Umbraco or similar web management software.
• Demonstrated experience in the Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
• A high level of enthusiasm, initiative and creativity
• High degree of attention to detail & accuracy
• Ability to work autonomously and in teams
