YOUR BIG OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about agriculture and marketing? This is your chance to lead the engagement efforts for AFIA and make a real impact in the agricultural sector.

As the Industry Marketing & Engagement Manager’, you will connect with producers across Australia, build strong relationships, and help grow the membership and sponsorship base for your organisation.

The role :
• Membership and Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with members and sponsors, respond to enquiries, and drive membership growth.
• Commercial Agreements : Maintain, renegotiate, and develop sponsorship and partnership agreements that align with the organisation’s strategic goals.
• Hay Market Reporting : Manage the creation and distribution of the weekly Hay Market Report, providing key insights to stakeholders.
• Event Management : Coordinate key industry events, including trade shows, delegate registrations, and budget management.
• Social Media and Digital Engagement : Leverage social media and digital platforms to engage with members and promote the organisation’s services and events.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a proactive, commercially-savvy professional with a genuine passion for the agricultural sector. A natural communicator and skilled networker, you thrive on building strong, lasting relationships with members, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders.

With a solid understanding of marketing and engagement strategies, you’re eager to tackle the unique challenges facing hay and silage producers across Australia.

Your combination of drive, industry knowledge, and relationship-building skills will make a real difference.
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders, negotiate commercial agreements, and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM systems, with excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Experience in planning and executing industry events, from budgeting to logistics.
• Comfort with social media platforms and using digital tools to communicate with members and the wider agricultural community.
• Previous experience / ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and deliver results without direct supervision.
