**Position Overview**
The Head of Venture will oversee an established portfolio of nine companies (with six LOI projects ready for deployment), showcasing remarkable performance indicators, including a triple-digit IRR (330%) and a TVPI of over 13.8 (up more than 1380%). This role will also involve leading a diverse team with a presence in the GCC and SEA regions, which is growing rapidly.

• *Requirements**
• *Must-Have:**
– 5+ years of venture capital experience;
– Fluent English (both verbal and written);
– Strong analytical skills with experience in traditional finance (e.g., hedge funds, investment banking, venture capital, private equity) and/or venture capital;
– Extensive experience in capital raising;
– Team management or operational… leadership experience;
– A robust network that can be leveraged for deal flow and strategic opportunities, with a proven ability to identify high-potential investments;
– Protocol experience (e.g., business development, engineering, ecosystem knowledge);
– Sales skills with the ability to close deals, alongside a natural talent for networking;
– Familiarity with portfolio management dynamics;
– Excellent negotiation skills and ability to meet deadlines;
– Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and Mac systems.
• *Nice-to-Have:**
– M&A or trading experience (preferred but not essential);
– A financial designation or license is advantageous but not mandatory.
• *Role & Responsibilities:**
– Lead a global team of venture associates, implementing the fund manager’s vision while adhering to the investment strategy and serving on the investment committee;
– Support capital deployment, including sourcing, due diligence, and executing high-quality investment deals;
– Manage a steady deal flow, monitoring investment exposure, liquid/illiquid assets, and KPIs, while continuously balancing the portfolio;
– Play a pivotal role in DeFi and liquidity operations, in close collaboration with the quantitative trading team;
– Perform market research, investment trend analysis, financial modeling, valuation assessments, due diligence, and offer project support for portfolio companies;
– Prepare and manage reports and updates (e.g., investment notes, quarterly reports, monthly digests);
– Collaborate with the fund manager to enhance team cohesion, ensure capital efficiency, and drive company growth;
– Promote the fund by conducting interviews, fostering relationships with other funds, attending and speaking at conferences, and engaging in public forums;
– Present the fund to potential LPs and support the closing process;
– Work closely with the finance department to ensure compliance with internal procedures;
– Maintain secure records using company systems and repositories.
