Job Title: Director Sales – EMEA

Position Overview
As the Director of Sales – EMEA, you will drive the growth and market penetration of all product lines, including standard products, custom, and semi-custom solutions. Looking for a results-driven professional with experience selling to target customers and markets, capable of developing a strong technical understanding of our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate a clear technical understanding of products and the industry to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Customer Engagement: Provide high-level product information to customers, including design engineers, component engineers, procurement professionals, and distributors, using various tools and materials.
• Solutions Development: Leverage experience in promoting and selling semi-custom and custom solutions, including engineering services and intellectual property (IP), to develop tailored solutions for customer needs. Make new product recommendations based on customer input.
• Market Strategy and Growth: Develop channel mapping profiles and market penetration action plans for the assigned territory. Achieve revenue, Design win and new product request targets to maximize market penetration.
• Prospecting: Identify potential customers and target accounts, research existing customers’ products and trends, and collaborate with distribution partners to enhance market insights.
• Account Development: Consistently pursue new accounts and make sufficient sales calls to expand business at existing and new accounts. Foster relationships with design and component engineers to incorporate products into new designs.
• Extended Sales Channel Management: Facilitate proper training of all franchised or authorized distributors. Recommend adding or terminating franchised distributors. Act as a liaison between customers, distributors, and internal customer service teams, as well as various internal departments, to resolve customer-related issues.
• Reporting: Provide accurate forecasts monthly and quarterly to the Executive Team for top accounts.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of electronic component sales experience, including promotion of semi-custom/custom solutions.
• Previous experience working with manufacturing representatives and distributors.
• Previous experience selling into target markets, including electronic components for automotive, industrial, EV/Battery, and consumer electronics applications.
• Excellent project management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
Additional Information:
• The position requires travel 50-60% of the time
• This position is primarily an independent contributor but is responsible for managing regional sales resources in EMEA and the extended distributors in the region.
