Responsibilities:
• The Functional Safety Manager (FuSa) is responsible for supporting function owners, BTVs and system architects in the interpretation and application of functional safety processes and methods.
• Supports the project team in the implementation of functional safety management.
• Work with the project team on the applicability and optimisation of processes developed based on project experience.
• Selects and updates the measures and techniques required by the ISO 26262 standard.
• Adapts the development process with regard to functional safety.
• Defines the list of functional safety documents to be created.
• Ensures compliance with the general quality objectives in accordance with the applicable quality standards.
• Responsible for reviewing the implementation of safety measures during the project and product release.
• Plans and coordinates safety activities.
• Creates and maintains the safety plan.
• Manages all functional safety work products.
• Facilitates analysis sessions and conducts safety analyses.
• Organises reviews, audits and safety assessments.
• Interfaces with customers and suppliers for functional safety.
• Maintains the safety case.
