Chief Product Officer, B2B SaaS (Local to Germany)

I am looking for a visionary Chief Product Officer (CPO) with a background in building scalable, customizable B2B SaaS platforms with a focus on ease of deployment and implementation for large enterprise clients.

This is a remote-first position but you have to be located in Germany for it.

In this role, you will closely partner with the company’s Founders and CTO, driving the strategic direction of their platform and shaping the future of their product ecosystem. The CPO will be responsible for building and evolving the product team, setting a clear product vision that aligns with the company’s long-term business objectives, and positioning it as a leader in the enterprise B2B SaaS space. This is a strategic role, focused on ensuring that the company’s product direction aligns with their business objectives and meets the evolving needs of both customers and partners.

You will:
• Develop and communicate a forward-thinking product strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business goals, positioning them as a leader in the B2B SaaS industry.
• Lead the growth of a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Ensure that cross-functional teams work cohesively to deliver exceptional results.
• Partner with the CTO, founders, and other executives to align product initiatives with broader business strategies.
• Represent the product function at the executive level, delivering insights on priorities, challenges, and growth opportunities.
• Oversee the evolution of the platform architecture, ensuring it remains modular and adaptable to diverse client needs.
• Focus on creating a product that supports seamless implementation by enterprise users and partners, emphasizing usability and ease of deployment.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Guide your teams to continuously evolve the company’s product offerings, ensuring they remain at the forefront of innovation and consistently deliver value to clients and partners.
• Act as the key liaison between product teams, senior leadership, external clients, and partners.
• Ensure all stakeholders are aligned with the product vision and goals, driving momentum across the organization.

You have:
• Extensive experience in developing and leading B2B SaaS products, with a deep understanding of the complexities of client and partner needs within this environment.
• Proven experience building scalable, customizable platforms with a focus on ease of deployment and implementation for large enterprise clients.
• Strong track record of setting and delivering product strategies at an executive level, with experience in building and scaling product organizations.
• Experience in developing products with strong data components, and the ability to leverage data to create differentiated products.
• Ability to balance long-term product vision with short-term execution.
• Experience translating high-level business objectives into actionable product roadmaps.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning product strategy with overall business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to represent product strategy at the executive and board level.
