We are looking for a passionate and innovative User Experience (UX) Community Lead to join our Customer Experience Engineering (CxE) Customer Communities and Partner (CCP) team. Our team’s mission is to connect end-users with engineers to co-develop products that drive customer and partner success, accelerate usage, and unlock the full potential of our solutions.
We are seeking a dedicated Security CxE UX Community Product Manager who will enhance our team, introduce innovative solutions to our challenges, and spearhead programs that improve the customer experience and product quality. This role will work across all Microsoft Security products, specializing in connecting our UX Researchers and product Feature PMs directly with customers from our existing private NDA communities.
You will be at the forefront of enhancing the customer experience by fostering a culture of customer-centric development. You will work closely with UX Researchers, Designers, Feature PMs and existing customer communities to ensure that customer insights are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
Other Requirements:
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• Profiecient problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic skills, with curiosity and bias for action.
• Growth mindset and customer-development experience.
• Effective communication and empathy skills with customers, partners, field, and engineering.
• Proficient collaboration, cross-teaming, prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with UX customer research and surveys
• Experience leveraging customer communities to drive feedback and influence
• Self-starter, who can handle ambiguity and provide innovative solutions.
Product Management IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 – $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 – $250,200 per year.

Responsibilities
Lead UX Community Initiatives: Oversee and contribute to the UX Community program, ensuring effective customer connections across all communities and UX.
Expand Customer Engagement: Grow and engage our customer community across various domains and regions, focusing on quality co-development with engineering.
Collaborate with Product Managers: Partner with feature Product Managers to shape customer engagements throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop Support Infrastructure: Create and improve the infrastructure, collateral, and instructional design to support community engagement and research activities.
Empower UX Researchers: Advocate for and empower UX engagements within and beyond the engineering team, ensuring a seamless flow of impactful customer insights.
Enable Scale Execution: The purpose of this role is to make entire teams of UX Researchers and Feature PMs more efficient and effective. As such, this role will need to innovate constantly and look to scale execution while maintaining or improving quality.
