Senior Solutions Manager – Technology & Power Products

We are currently looking for a Senior Solutions Manager within our Future Technologies business area. This position will be linked to our Lomondgate site in Dumbarton but open to candidates based in other UK and European locations.

This role will be responsible for establishing and employing techno-economic benchmark and analysis models for energy solutions involving multiple product technologies acting as link and translator between future technologies, product management, and commercial requirements.

What You’ll Do
• Adopt and employ standardized techno-economic benchmark models to drive a harmonized approach to analysing value propositions of energy solutions, products, and technologies –
• Work with the Director Future Technologies to drive the adoption of harmonized benchmark models as part of decision-making processes.
• Work with the finance team to ensure appropriate economic and financial KPIs are employed when benchmarking technologies and solutions
• Work with different business units to reflect the variety of commercial models employed throughout the group (from short-term rental to power purchase agreements)
• Work with the product managers across the product lines to adopt/refine portfolio of benchmark use cases and models to assess the techno-economic performance of the main product groups within each product line (e.g. high-horsepower gas gensets, canopy diesel gensets, mid-size battery energy storage, chillers, etc.)
• Work with Senior Manager – Future Technologies and Director Future Technologies to adopt benchmark models for the assessment of alternative and future technologies.
• Work with the data insights / science team to leverage data-driven insights where appropriate.

You’ll Have The Following Skills And Experience
• Experience in techno-economic modelling of energy products / solutions or a related field (experience with simulation tools such as Homer Energy / Grid is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and technical data
• Passion for technology and eagerness to analyze and understand the business value of technology innovation for Aggreko
• Structured, result-oriented and self-starting approach, comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills – communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of stakeholders
• Affinity to continuous learning, attention to detail, data quality and documentation of learnings
• Ability to travel.
