Job Description
As an Appointment Setter / Sales Development Representative, you’ll be the cornerstone of our client’s sales process, driving growth and connecting valuable insurance products with those who need them most. You’ll leverage cutting-edge CRM technology and your sharp communication skills to analyze leads, conduct impactful outreach, and set the stage for successful insurance sales. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry while honing your sales and customer service abilities. Responsibilities
• Analyze lead data to identify high-potential clients and insurance product opportunities
• Conduct 60-80 daily outbound calls to schedule appointments for top-performing insurance advisors
• Manage and update client information in Salesforce CRM with meticulous attention to detail
• Articulate our client’s value proposition and explain association benefits to potential customers
• Coordinate and schedule appointments efficiently using Calendly
• Follow up on missed appointments and handle rescheduling with professionalism and persistence
• Assist in lead qualification and perform basic insurance needs assessments
• Collaborate closely with sales representatives to ensure smooth handover of appointments
• Maintain accurate, detailed records of all prospect communications
• Potential to contribute to email campaign management and social media outreach initiatives
Requirements
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with ability to build rapport quickly
• Prior experience in appointment setting, sales development, or customer service preferred
• Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce
• Basic understanding of life and health insurance products
• Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills
• Resilience and positive attitude when handling objections or rejection
• Proficiency in using communication tools like Skype and Calendly
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while adhering to team goals and schedules
• Openness to learning about various insurance products and industry trends
• Comfortable working in Central Time Zone business hours (flexible between 9 AM to 7 PM CT)
