As part of our Clinical Sequencing Division (CSD) European Sales team, this remote, field-based role offers a unique opportunity to support the strong growth we have within our organization. Skills
• Demonstrable success in complex selling in the healthcare market (in vitro diagnostics, medical device, pharmaceutical)
• Proven experience in sales, NGS sequencing, and molecular biology
• Understanding of healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce
• Excellent business presentation, listening, and influencing skills
Responsibilities
• Primary promotion of our NGS clinical solutions to existing and new customers (academic medical centers, routine & pathology testing labs, hospitals)
• Drive successful adoption of technology within all applied markets while investigating potential for other applications and solutions both pre-clinically and clinically
• Manage opportunity pipeline from initial contact to contract signing
• Achieve revenue targets and deadlines by implementing regional forecast and conducting regular business reviews
• Maintain accurate customer information through Thermo Fisher Scientific CRM (Salesforce)
• Develop strategies and tactics for business growth in targeted accounts and protecting current base business
• Improve customer value and satisfaction by aligning complex product solutions and services with key customer initiatives
• Manage relationships with key collaborators, decision makers, and partners
• Respond to customer requests and issues with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field, with relevant experience; or an MS degree in Life Sciences
• Equivalent experience will be considered
• Proven success in sales and a strong network within the healthcare environment
