Excitingly, we have an opportunity for an Experience Executive to join the Experience team in our Canberra office on a permanent part-time basis, fulfilling approximately 20 hours/week.
Job description:
As the Experience Executive, you will play a key role in the success of the business, both by creating a welcoming environment for visitors and maintaining our reputation as a great place to work. You will work alongside an onsite Manager to create a world class office and client experience, with support from various resources and the cleaning team to achieve this.
In addition to overseeing front-of-house duties and general administration, you will ensure the overall operation of the office is efficient and meets the highest standards for both visitors and our people.
Key responsibilities:
• Providing front of house cover and overseeing reception
• Greeting our people and escorting visitors upon arrival with warmth and professionalism
• Answering any incoming calls and direct phone traffic to the appropriate person
• Coordinating with couriers on deliveries
• Assisting with travel bookings as required
• Logging building and maintenance issues and escalate as needed
• Assisting with new starter set up
• Contributing to the organisation and roll-out of events
• Coordinating meetings / room requests and ensuring the presentation of meetings rooms is at the highest standard
• Ensuring the office is well supplied and stocked within budget including consumables
The person we’re looking for has / is:
• Experience working in a customer service-related role: e.g., reception, office administration, hospitality, retail, airlines, hotels, etc.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• A kind and personable individual with a positive demeanour
• High standard of presentation, both personally and in your surroundings
• Inspired by providing exceptional service
• Able to adapt to every day being different and remain upbeat on fast paced days, as well as days that focus on administrative work
• Can operate effectively with little or no supervision and can manage multiple tasks at once without becoming overwhelmed
• Proactive and solutions focused – able to anticipate issues before they arise
• Calm under pressure
