Lead Consultant – Sage Intacct

We are seeking an experienced Lead Consultant with strong management skills to drive client projects, provide strategic direction, and oversee a team of consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for leading project execution, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality deliverables that align with client goals. Additionally, you’ll mentor team members, manage project budgets, and contribute to business development efforts.

Ideal candidates will have working experience with Sage Intacct (Implementing and configuring), a strong consulting background, leadership experience, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects in client-facing environments. Additional experience in Accounting or Finance would also be beneficial.

You will create, develop, and maximise the consultancy experience for our clients through taking the lead on client projects and supervising and managing consultants and assistant consultants to achieve customer success for our clients.

As we strive for professionalism, we look to reward high performing consultants. Consultants in delivery roles are eligible for a utilisation bonus of up to 15% of their on-target earnings (OTE) if they achieve their monthly utilisation targets. This bonus is calculated quarterly, rewarding consultants who consistently meet or exceed their targets each month within the quarter.

Responsibilities
• Lead and Scope client meetings to explore consultancy requirements
• Develop project initiation documents and project plans
• Lead and support the full project lifecycle from Initiation and Discovery to Implementation and Go Live
• Solution Design and Configuration of Sage Intacct for clients
• Apply knowledge and training to deliver consultancy requirements on time with excellent follow up for a portfolio of clients.
• Ability to work well with conflicting priorities and deadlines and the ability to prioritise workloads
• Work collaboratively in support of solution design and services for prospects.
• Offer advice about configuration options and impact – directly to clients and to own team as well as leading on discussions regarding interfaces with other products
• Use reporting tools to create, edit and schedule analytics suites for clients
• Manage both internal quality assurance testing and advising on UAT
• Act as the lead contact for Phase 3 with clients and partners
• Devise appropriate governance processes, change control, risk management and communication strategies
• Develop and provide high quality documents
• Offer professionalism, service and accuracy for team and project work when assigned
• Management of individual and Team KPI’s and Utilisation targets

Essential Requirements
• Experience of Sage Intacct – 2+ years
• Exceptional Consultancy and Communication skills
• Track record of successfully working on large, complex consulting engagements, including system design and implementation
• Ownership of project life-cycles and methods, evidentially proven
• Thorough understanding of project life-cycle and methods
• Analytical thinking and open-ness to learning
• Excitement about flexibility, independence, initiative and knowledge-sharing in your job
• Commitment to clients, team and a Phase 3 role
• Ability and willingness to travel when needed for the role
• A professional approach to internal and external stakeholder communication
• The drive to hit targets and grow within the organisation
