You will also work with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) concepts and development on the WebLogic Application Server platform. Skills
• Proficient in Java/J2EE technologies
• Experience with Core Java, XML, Web Services, JMS, and SQL
• Familiarity with integration middleware or ESB technologies such as iWay, Spring, or Apache Camel
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Enterprise Integration Patterns
• Experience with source control software (Bitbucket), unit testing (JUnit), Git, Maven, and CI tools (Jenkins)
• Background in the health insurance industry (preferred)
Responsibilities
• Work as part of an agile team to implement new features
• Conduct detailed designs and lead design discussions
• Break down epics into stories and assist with backlog grooming
• Lead peer reviews of design and code
• Coordinate release management and bug triaging
• Conduct bug fixing and support customer issue resolution
• Perform data loads for UAT and production readiness tasks
Qualifications
• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Java/J2EE development
• Prior experience in customer-facing roles on professional services engagements
• Strong analytical, consulting, and communication skills
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Education Requirements Credential Category
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience Requirements
• At least 6 years of development experience in Java/J2EE technologies
• Hands-on experience in complex data analysis, data migrations, and system integration
• Experience with Java applications tuning, database SQLs, Docker, K8S, and web service testing tools is a plus
