Role Title: Software Tester (Need Functional IE Tester)
Location: Remote
Duration: Full-time with Apexon
Role Description:
• MUST have knowledge of MA, SNAP, TANF benefits program. SHOULD have knowledge of TOP and Finance process. Need a Functional IE Tester.
• Designing and executing test cases: Creating and running tests based on requirements and specifications.
• Identifying and documenting defects: Finding bugs and errors in the software and recording them for developers to address.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Working with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure smooth testing and problem resolution.
• Developing and executing test plans: Creating comprehensive plans to ensure thorough testing coverage.
• Documenting and reporting defects, issues, and test results: Maintaining detailed records of findings and reporting them effectively.
• Performing regression testing: Ensuring new changes don’t introduce unintended issues in existing functionalities.
• Analyzing system specifications: Understanding the requirements and specifications of the software.
• Identifying areas for improvement: Providing feedback to developers on areas that need improvement.
• Troubleshooting issues: Identifying and troubleshooting problems within the application.
• Contributing to process improvement: Suggesting improvements in testing methodologies and tools.
• Interacting with clients: Gathering requirements and ensuring software meets end-user expectations.
• Training and supporting junior testers: Mentoring and guiding junior testers.
