Role: Netapp Azure Storage admin

Location: Remote

Job Description:

· Administer and manage Azure NetApp Files environments, including provisioning, scaling, and performance tuning.

· Configure and maintain NetApp storage solutions in Azure using NetApp technologies (ANF / Cloud Volumes ONTAP).

· Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot issues and ensure high uptime.

· Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies in coordination with tools like Rubrik or native Azure services.

· Manage file services (NFS, SMB, dual-protocol) and ensure secure access controls and permissions.

· Support hybrid cloud storage integration between on-prem NetApp systems and Azure.

· Automate storage operations using scripts (PowerShell, CLI, or ARM templates).

· Work with cloud and infrastructure teams to support application storage requirements (VMs, databases, SAP, etc.).

· Maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance with security policies.

· Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and participate in on-call support.
