Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Data Focus)
Location: Houston, TX (Remote option for strong candidates)

Job Summary:We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong data background to bridge business requirements with data engineering teams. This role requires hands-on data validation, impact analysis, and ownership of Agile delivery processes.Key Responsibilities:
• Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL
• Analyze data transformations, aggregates, and business logic
• Conduct end-to-end impact analysis across pipelines, reports, and downstream systems
• Identify risks related to schema or logic changes
• Lead technical grooming sessions and refine requirements
• Convert business needs into user stories & acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with data engineers and QA teams for smooth delivery
• Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage Jira backlog
• Track dependencies, defects, and sprint progress
• Work with data lineage, governance, and data quality processes
Required Skills:
• Strong hands-on SQL and data analysis experience
• Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and cloud environments
• Understanding of data lineage & governance tools (e.g., Atlan)
• Solid experience in Agile/Scrum and Jira management
• Ability to perform impact analysis and downstream assessment
• Exposure to data quality frameworks and validations
• Familiarity with AI tools for analysis/documentation (preferred)
