Title: Billing Analyst/Office Clerk Remote
Pay rate: $24/hr.
Location: MD (Remote)
Summary:
Core Responsibilities
• Execute daily billing operations, including adjustments, balancing, and ensuring accurate billing cycles.
• Apply payments to customer accounts against open Accounts Receivable (AR) and reconcile payments with bank details.
• Answer internal and external customer billing inquiries.
• Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX.
• Monitor existing workflows and proactively suggest process improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: 0-2 years of related billing or AR experience (Entry-level).
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Hard Skills: Understanding of GAAP and internal accounting controls; proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and Google Suite.
• Bonus Skills: Experience with ERPs or billing platforms like NetSuite, SAP, or JIRA is a strong plus.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail, critical thinking ability, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Must be highly adaptable and capable of working independently in a global, deadline-driven environment.
Logistics & Schedule
Location: 100% Remote (Candidate must have adequate childcare arrangements during working hours, per the manager).
Schedule Transition: Until May 18th: Part-time (20 hours/week), Monday–Friday, roughly 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM ET (some flexibility).
After May 18th: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET with a 1-hour lunch.
