Ecommerce designer: ads, email and Shopify
£26,000–£28,000 base | OTE £36,000–£40,000 | Full time | Remote / hybrid
We don’t need a designer who makes things look good. We need one who makes things convert and understands exactly why one version of an ad, email or PDP outperforms another.
About the role
Fabrik is a growth studio for luxury and premium fashion, footwear and apparel brands. We work with some of the best brands in the UK and internationally, running performance marketing, content, Shopify development, email and wholesale under one brief, one team and one P&L.
This role owns the visual execution of the full customer journey, from the first ad impression through to email, PDP and checkout. You will work across multiple premium brand clients, embedded inside a multi-channel delivery team with direct access to paid media, email and Shopify specialists.
You will not be producing static brand assets. You will be designing the touchpoints that drive revenue and you will be expected to understand why they work.
Compensation
Base salary: £26,000–£28,000 On-target earnings: £36,000–£40,000
Bonus is paid quarterly from a margin-based pool. When client accounts exceed our gross margin threshold, the surplus is shared across the delivery team on that account. You grow when your clients grow. There is no cap and no upselling required to hit it.
What you will own
• Ad creative across Meta and Google: static and carousel formats built for performance
• Email design in Klaviyo: campaign and flow templates built for mobile-first rendering and click-through
• PDP layouts and Shopify collection page design, in collaboration with the Shopify dev team
• Landing pages and seasonal campaign pages, optimised for conversion not just aesthetics
• Creative iterations based on paid media performance data, working directly with paid social and search teams to inform test cycles
• Brand consistency across all client touchpoints without sacrificing channel-specific performance requirements
• Design system maintenance for each client: Figma components, shared libraries, export-ready asset packs
What we are looking for
Skills you must have:
• Figma: proficient, not just functional. You build organised component libraries, not one-off files
• Klaviyo email design: you understand rendering behaviour, dark mode and mobile fallbacks
• Ad creative for Meta and Google: you know spec requirements and how format affects performance
• Shopify PDP and collection page design: you understand how design decisions interact with template architecture
• UI thinking: you design customer journeys, not isolated assets
• Process discipline: you work from briefs, hit deadlines and manage asset delivery without chasing
Skills that will set you apart:
• Understanding of CRO principles: hierarchy, trust signals, friction reduction
• Experience reading ad performance data to brief creative iterations
• Previous experience in a multi-brand agency or studio
• Fashion, footwear or lifestyle sector background
• Basic HTML/CSS: enough to flag a rendering issue or tweak an email template
Tools you will use daily
Figma, Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, Google Display, Notion, Teamwork, Adobe CC (optional)
How we work
• You will be briefed by a Client Strategy Director. One brief per client, aligned across all channels
• All work is logged in Teamwork. 35 hours per week minimum, non-negotiable
• You will be in regular direct contact with paid media and email specialists. Design decisions are informed by performance data, not personal preference
• Clients are luxury and premium fashion and footwear brands. The standard is high and you will be expected to match it without being precious about iterations
What this role is not
• A brand identity or logo design role. We are execution-focused, not rebrand-focused
• A purely visual role. If you do not understand what happens after someone clicks your ad, this is not the right fit
• A freelance or project-based engagement. This is a full-time embedded team role.
Send your portfolio and a short note on why you are a fit to [email protected]. We want to see ad creative, email designs and Shopify/PDP work, preferably all three. No portfolio, no conversation.
Pay: £26,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
