Our Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) services department is seeking a CAAS Account Manager to act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing their accounting needs, resolving issues, and providing financial insights. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in client management and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
Understand client needs and provide tailored accounting solutions
Manage client projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets
Coordinate with different departments to deliver comprehensive services
Prepare and review financial reports
Prepare, review, and submit compliance filings, and other regulatory filings
Oversee and manage client projects, ensuring timely completion of and adherence to budgets
Monitor project process and provide regular updates to clients and senior management
Provide guidance and support to bookkeepers, fostering their skills and development
Utilize advanced accounting software and tools to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve data accuracy
Support the development of team members through training, supervision, and constructive, timely review of work.
Ensure all bookkeeping activities comply with internal policies and procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
Learn and demonstrate evolving accounting and technology skills
Participate in firm wide initiatives
Qualifications:
Required
MBA/BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
5+ years of accounting and bookkeeping experience in a CPA, business management, or outsourced accounting firm
Understanding of taxation, payroll and other fiscal aspects of a business
Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks), Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent knowledge of general ledger accounting and principles
Prior bookkeeping experience required
Prior experience managing staff preferred

Additional Notes
This position is primarily remote. However, occasional onsite presence is required for team meetings, planning sessions, and key initiatives. This position requires extended periods of sitting and computer use. The pay rate range for this position is $85,000 to $97,500.
