We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Commercial Designer to join our creative team! Responsibilities
• Develop conceptual designs and detailed schematics for commercial projects using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and ArchiCAD.
• Create accurate 2D drawings, 3D models, and visualizations to communicate design intent clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure designs meet technical specifications and regulatory standards.
• Utilize tools like Bluebeam and MicroStation to review plans, annotate drawings, and facilitate seamless communication across teams.
• Incorporate graphic design principles into visual presentations, ensuring aesthetic appeal aligns with functional requirements.
• Assist in system design and interior layouts, integrating mechanical systems and architectural elements for cohesive project execution.
• Support the development of schematics, drafting documentation, and CAD files necessary for construction or manufacturing processes.
Requirements
• Proven experience in commercial design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), Grasshopper 3D, SolidWorks, Bluebeam, and other relevant CAD or 3D modeling software.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, system design, mechanical design, and interior architecture.
• Ability to produce high-quality 2D animations or visualizations that enhance project presentations.
• Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in schematics and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of graphic design principles applicable to commercial environments and system layouts.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various stages of project development.
