The role We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Finance Analyst II who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual will join a skilled team and will be responsible for providing analytical and operational support to the Finance team, focusing on Quanata, LLC and the HiRoad Assurance Company. The Finance Analyst II will assist in data collection, basic financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of key financial processes. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, able to build relationships, apply analytical thinking to new projects, has excellent collaboration and communication skills, and is able to learn new technologies quickly. Your day-to-day • Support financial reporting and month-end close processes by managing data, performing basic trend and variance analysis, and assisting with financial assessments. • Manage key accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and payments, while also supporting vendor relations, compliance, and related tax reporting. • Execute diverse payment transactions and oversee daily cash flow operations, including managing receipts and performing essential reconciliations. • Address and resolve financial inquiries and payment disputes effectively, analyzing root causes to identify and recommend process improvements. • Maintain meticulous financial records and documentation, directly supporting internal and external audit processes and ensuring adherence to compliance requirements. • Provide crucial analytical and operational support to the Finance team, contributing to efficiency improvements and the achievement of departmental goals. • Collaborate effectively within the Finance team and across departments, fostering a positive work environment and aligning contributions with company objectives. About you • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field or equivalent, relevant experience and; • 0-2 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analytical support role (relevant internships welcome). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, numerical aptitude, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, and a solid grasp of basic accounting and financial principles. • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment. • A proactive and eager learner with a strong desire to build a career in finance, demonstrating the ability to work well under guidance and as a collaborative team member. • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
