Deductions Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Dearborn, MI)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Deductions Analyst to support financial operations by researching discrepancies, identifying root causes, and delivering clear, data-driven insights. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong analytical skills who enjoys problem-solving and communicating findings to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct root-cause analysis of accounts receivable discrepancies and deductions
• Research and analyze deduction issues using large and complex data sets
• Identify trends, patterns, and recurring issues impacting receivables
• Prepare and communicate discrepancy findings and recommendations to management
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support timely resolution of deduction issues
• Utilize system data and reporting tools to support accurate financial analysis
Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Deductions Analysis, or a similar finance role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: • VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
• Pivot Tables
• Data analysis and manipulation of large datasets
• Ability to query system data and translate findings into clear insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to management
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Background supporting financial operations, reconciliation, or continuous improvement initiatives
