Key Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line application support for critical business systems, resolving incidents and service requests promptly.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve software and system issues, identifying root causes and escalating to development teams when necessary.

• Monitor application performance, system health, and proactively identify potential issues or bottlenecks before they impact users.

• Maintain clear, comprehensive, and up-to-date documentation of support processes, common solutions, and knowledge base articles.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Development, QA, and Operations to ensure timely resolution of complex issues and continuous improvement.

• Assist with user training and onboarding for new applications, features, or system updates.

• Participate in testing and deployment activities for new application releases, patches, and system upgrades.

• Manage incident tickets throughout their lifecycle, ensuring accurate tracking, status updates, and transparent communication with all stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Proven experience (3+ years) in application support or technical support roles.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and ITIL principles.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting web-based applications, APIs, and client-server architectures.

• Hands-on experience with SQL databases for data querying, analysis, and basic script execution (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server).

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
