You will develop and maintain core business logic and database integrations on the iSeries platform. Responsibilities Develop and maintain programs using ILE and free-format RPGLE, including embedded SQL-RPGLE. Write complex SQL queries, joins, and perform database tuning on IBM DB2/400. Build and manage APIs, Stored Procedures, Service Programs, and User-Defined Functions. Manage data transfers via FTP jobs, flat file formatting, and loading data into DB2 using RPGLE or CLLE. Program, process, and debug batch jobs and interactive screen programs using Subfiles. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in AS400 development. Extensive hands-on experience with RPGLE (ILE and free-format). Deep expertise in SQL and IBM DB2/400. Proficiency in CLLE and batch job programming. Experience with iSeries Data Queues and Message Queues for asynchronous communication. Knowledge of load-all and page-at-a-time Subfiles for interactive programming. Ability to connect and integrate with remote iSeries systems. Understanding of SQL vs Native I/O and set-based vs record-at-a-time processing. Degree in any graduate field. Preferred Skills Experience with online screen support and maintenance programs. Knowledge of manual display file control (opening and closing).
