UK Financial Advisors: This international opportunity is specifically designed for UK-qualified financial advisors (DipPFS, CISI Level 4, CFP) looking to relocate and build a global client base.
Opportunity Overview
Our client, founded in 2010, believes that financial planning is central to every stage of life. From buying property, educating children, protecting family, planning retirement, to passing on wealth, they provide comprehensive, personalized support. Operating under Swiss/EU regulation, they ensure complete compliance and peace of mind.
They are currently seeking financial advisors to work in Switzerland or in a fully remote capacity, providing high-quality advisory services to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
• Contact and meet clients, in-office, at homes, or business premises
• Conduct research and analysis to prepare tailored financial plans
• Design strategies and guide clients in making informed financial decisions
• Review client portfolios and adjust plans based on changing circumstances
• Promote and sell financial products to meet agreed sales targets
• Liaise with head office, service providers, and negotiate with product suppliers
• Communicate with estate agents, solicitors, and other professionals
• Stay up to date with financial products, legislation, and regulatory requirements
• Produce clear, actionable financial reports for clients
Required Qualifications & Experience
• FINMA registration as a Swiss Financial Advisor (IAF)
• UK Level 3 certification, actively pursuing Level 4
• Asset/Investment Management Certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory preferred
• Strong understanding of Swiss/EU regulatory frameworks including Polyreg, OSFIN, MiFID II, and MFSA
• Member of recognized professional associations such as CII, VSV/ASG, SRIAA
