Job Description

As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing design projects from inception to completion, all while leveraging the flexibility and convenience of remote work. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct virtual client consultations to understand project scope, requirements, and stylistic preferences.
• Develop comprehensive design concepts, including mood boards, material palettes, and furniture selections.
• Create detailed space plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using professional design software.
• Prepare project documentation, specifications, and schedules for client review and contractor implementation.
• Source and specify finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories, ensuring adherence to budget and aesthetic goals.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors, providing design guidance and resolving on-site challenges remotely.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar CAD and 3D rendering software.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse interior design projects (residential and/or commercial).
• Excellent visual and verbal communication skills, especially in a virtual setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of space planning, color theory, lighting design, and material selection.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, building codes, and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) for presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional licensure.
• Experience with virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) design tools.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and materials.
