Job Summary
The Elite Job is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic international finance team. Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and Dutch accounting standards.

Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger reconciliations, and journal entries.

Collaborate with Dutch financial teams to ensure accurate consolidation of international financial statements.

Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.

Support internal and external audits by providing detailed documentation and reports.
• *
Supervise junior accounting staff and provide mentorship and technical guidance.
• *
Maintain effective communication with banks, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.

Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

Ensure adherence to company policies, financial controls, and data security standards.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *
Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• *
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred.
• *
Strong knowledge of IFRS, Dutch GAAP, and international tax regulations.
• *
Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.

Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• *
Excellent written and verbal communication in English (knowledge of Dutch is an advantage).

High attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.

Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.

Experience collaborating with international teams, particularly in Europe or the Netherlands, is a strong advantage.
