Position Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Financial Manager to support our Lead Marketing and Operations team in the United States, with specific responsibility for accounting and reporting for our European entity. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a dedicated billing team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial processes while collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex financial processes, implementing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and international accounting standards. You will serve as a key contributor to our European finance operations, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive financial excellence and support business growth. Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Financial Manager at arenaflex, you will take ownership of critical financial processes and play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Financial Process Enhancement: Lead initiatives to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes within the European operations. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement while maintaining rigorous controls.
• Financial Management Support: Collaborate with the broader finance organization to promote sound financial and management processes that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Monthly Close Coordination: Prepare and oversee the monthly close process for financing and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established timelines and accounting standards.
• Regulatory Compliance: Provide funding for regulatory requirements and manage associated costs, exams, and any financial losses or adjustments in accordance with international accounting regulations.
• Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct detailed analysis focusing on current financial processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk.
• Workplace Excellence: Contribute to improving the workplace environment by fostering collaboration, implementing best practices, and promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Participate in local, regional, and international planning initiatives as needed, working effectively with diverse teams across multiple geographies.
• Change Management: Lead others through controlled change initiatives, implementing arenaflex policies and procedures in ways that ensure compliance while maintaining operational flexibility.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in international finance and accounting, with demonstrable experience in a senior accounting or financial management capacity. The ideal candidate will have:
• International Finance Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of international finances and familiarity with the requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
