Role Overview
This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning performance, strategy, and client outcomes across a portfolio of accounts.
You will operate as the primary strategic lead on multiple engagements, translating data into action, guiding execution, and ensuring consistent, high-quality performance across your book of business.
This is not a passive oversight role. You are accountable for results.
What You’ll Own
• Lead strategy across 6–10 client accounts
• Build media plans, campaign briefs, and channel strategies
• Serve as the senior client contact and trusted advisor
• Translate analytics and reporting into clear optimization plans
• Oversee and QA execution across channels
• Identify growth opportunities and expand account impact
• Guide and develop media managers (direct or dotted-line)
• Manage escalations, performance issues, and course correction

Core Requirements (Must-Have)
• 5–7+ years in digital media / performance marketing
• Proven ability to own strategy end-to-end across the funnel
• Experience managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
• Strong client presence; comfortable leading senior-level conversations
• Deep understanding of paid media channels (Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, OTT/CTV, Streaming Audio)
• Strong command of optimization levers across platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Demonstrated track record driving measurable outcomes (CPL, CPA, pipeline, revenue)
• Ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable insights
• Experience managing and developing team members
• Comfortable managing and reallocating budgets at scale
• Highly organized with strong process and operational discipline
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally (creative, analytics, web, CRM)
Preferred (What Separates Good from Great)
• Experience in higher education or lead generation-heavy environments
• Background building measurement frameworks (attribution models, funnel tracking, CRM integrations like Salesforce or HubSpot)
• Familiarity with tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, or Google Analytics
• Experience with data pipelines or warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Funnel.io, Supermetrics)
• Exposure to incrementality testing, lift studies, or experimentation frameworks
• Experience scaling campaigns across large budgets or multiple markets
• Strong POV on channel diversification (streaming, Reddit, emerging platforms)
• Experience contributing to new business pitches or RFPs
• Background in mentoring junior team members into more strategic roles
• Experience in regulated or complex industries (higher ed, healthcare, financial services)
