Position Overview
The Graphic Design Specialist will be responsible for developing engaging visual content across digital, social, print, and internal communication channels. This role collaborates closely with marketing, communications, recruitment, and leadership teams to create high-quality branded assets that align with organizational goals and enhance audience engagement.
The ideal candidate has strong expertise in visual storytelling, branding, typography, layout design, and digital marketing trends while maintaining consistency across all creative projects.
This fully remote position is open to candidates located within the United States only.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and produce high-quality creative assets for:
• Social media campaigns
• Digital advertising
• Website graphics
• Email marketing campaigns
• Recruitment marketing
• Internal communications
• Patient education materials
• Presentations and branded collateral
• Print and promotional materials
• Maintain brand consistency across all marketing and communication channels
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic marketing initiatives
• Translate complex healthcare messaging into visually engaging content
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Edit and optimize graphics for web, mobile, and social media platforms
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and campaign development
• Stay current with design trends, healthcare marketing strategies, and emerging digital tools
• Ensure all creative materials meet accessibility and quality standards
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, Marketing, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong online portfolio showcasing digital and print design work
• Advanced proficiency in:
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Canva
• Figma
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of:
• Typography
• Layout design
• Branding principles
• Color theory
• Visual storytelling
• User experience and engagement design
• Experience designing for digital marketing and social media campaigns
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare, medical, hospital, or wellness marketing
• Motion graphics or video editing experience
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS fundamentals
• Experience with content management systems and marketing automation platforms
• Familiarity with ADA-compliant and accessible design practices
