Role Overview
We are seeking an Investment Professional focused on industrials and business services, with level flexibility from Associate to Director depending on experience. This role is designed for someone who can help source, evaluate, and execute investments in industrial, manufacturing, distribution, and business services platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong transaction execution skills with practical sector judgment around recurring revenue, customer concentration, pricing, operational complexity, asset intensity, and value creation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
· Source, evaluate, and support execution of investments in industrials and business services businesses.
· Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisition, financing, and operating scenarios.
· Assess key commercial and operational drivers including end markets, customer concentration, margin profile, working capital dynamics, capex requirements, and pricing power.
· Support diligence workstreams across commercial, operational, accounting, tax, legal, financing, and market analysis.
· Prepare investment committee materials, presentations, and internal memoranda.
· Coordinate with lenders, advisors, consultants, counterparties, and internal stakeholders throughout live transactions.
· Maintain pipeline materials and sector screens covering target subsectors, themes, and acquisition candidates.
· Work closely with leadership on portfolio strategy, value creation, operational improvement, and add-on acquisition opportunities.
Required Qualifications
· Relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, industrials coverage, business services investing, or a related transaction-oriented role.
· Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills.
· Demonstrated interest in or experience with industrials, manufacturing, distribution, transportation, logistics, engineering, facility services, outsourced services, or related sectors.
· Ability to assess both financial performance and operational issues such as utilization, throughput, fixed-cost leverage, procurement, maintenance capex, and execution risk.
· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under tight timelines.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Comfort working in a lean, fast-paced, founder-led environment.
Preferred Experience
· Prior private equity or strategic experience in industrials, manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, business services, or adjacent sectors.
· Exposure to cross-border transactions, founder-led businesses, or complex capital structures.
· Experience supporting operational diligence and post-close value creation planning.
· Strong commercial instinct around defensible market position, operational improvement, and acquisition integration.
