Deloitte is a leading Canadian professional services firm dedicated to making a positive impact. In this role, you will assist financial services clients in addressing quantitative challenges using your expertise in AI/ML, particularly in developing and validating Large Language Models.
Responsibilities
• Help financial services industry (FSI) clients face quantitative issues with informed confidence
• Using your deep technical skills and leveraging our global network of experts, provide professional advice to our FSI clients in a wide range of situations
• Develop/validate/review Large Language Models models (LLMs) based on industry best practices
• Learn and work in other quantitative and analytical areas such as credit modeling, forecasting and stress testing and customer behavior modeling
Skills
• Relevant experience in AI/ML domain
• Knowledge of NLP, LLMs (extractive and generative), fine-tuning, development, and deployment of LLM model. Familiar with higher level trends in LLMs and open-source platforms
• Creatively solution new features for the clients’ Generative AI offerings, including testing, evaluating and benchmarking different LLMs and toolchains
• Experience with Langchain and RAG
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Python, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch or similar statistical tools
• Solid academic background with a PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related field
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail and a talent for logical reason
• Curiosity and enthusiasm about new and unfamiliar technologies with ability to learn technical/scientific concepts quickly with minimal direction
